Dead CX3 head
We have a CX3 array with a dead controller head.
Im wondering if I can pick-up a new head on eBay and have it work as a plug-in replacement for the existing head?
It's my understanding all the SW/Licenses are on the Vault drives, so it seems like a new head unit could work, but I wanted to check before I bought a head from eBay.

Yes, you are right. All yhr layered application and licensing information are stored in the vault drives. Ideally, You should not face issues related to licensing once you have replaced the Faulty SP/Storage Processor/Controller with the good one.
