Dell U2722DE Flicker

I'm experiencing the common screen flicker/sync issue with this model using a MacBook Air M4.

I should still be in warranty despite the service tag indicating the product is out of warranty as of September 2025. I purchased the monitor late November 2023 from Amazon and can provide proof of purchase, so should still be under the standard 3-year warranty window.

I have followed the MacOS flicker guide with no luck. 

The flickering issue appears even without a computer connected. I'm seeing vertical bands that appear to more pronounced when displaying high contrast images/videos. I can provide a video if needed.

If I purchased the unit from another retailer other than Dell, is the 3-year warranty period not from the date of purchase from the retailer?

The reseller has indicated I need to raise the issue with Dell, the OEM based on invoice date from their store, so this should still be under warranty when I've started experiencing issues in the past month.

This is a persistent issue, that comes and goes over the day making the monitor quite unusable for any extended period of time.

Does Dell offer any help for folks with the issue?
