Order Delays?

Question

I ordered a laptop in November as a Christmas present. First delivery date said Dec 13th... now it was updated to be Dec 20th. It is imperative I receive this laptop (Inspiron 14 5000 Series)  before Dec 24th, or I want to cancel the order. Can Dell provide some assurances that this laptop will be here before Xmas?  (my account email is the same one the order was done under).
