We have verified that the customer's exadata DB has a lower deduplication rate than our estimate.

Is exadata typically less deduplicated than regular Oracle? Or is it a special situation?

Typically, I average the deduplication rate of oracle (avamar, data domain) as 50 % ratio first initial backup and 90 % ratio Daily full backup.
