excessive load balancing requests

Hi everyone

have logged with support but no reply yet but will ask here also.

Have upgraded from our 4 arrays in 1 group 7.1.4 (from 6.0.7 > 7.0.10>7.1.4).

Since doing this i have  noticed 2 things.

Firstly Excessive amounts of Load balancing requests from our Vmware hosts initiators - im talking one every 3 minutues and has been doing this sence yesterday afternoon.

This doesnt look normal to me and never did it before i upgraded?

Secondly, our physical backup server running veeam has gone down in performance. Some backups work, some dont, struggle to remove vmware snapshots, jobs jsut stop transferring data - all these odd problems since updating. this has been solid for well over 1 year.

also, looking at the EQL Mpio tab on the iscsi iniator i now only see 1 connection per volume where as before the upgarde it was 6 connections per volume. again this is only since the upgrade.

Hopefully someone can shedd some light on this as come tomorrow morning when we start seeing load i dont know how thigns are going to react!

confidence at themoment in this upgrade is low.
