Yes you can do this and yes it sounds correct but.....
- Check warranty status for the units because youre not allowed to run units without support with supportet units within the same group
- Check which FW is supportet for the PS6000 (32bit). Not sure if 8.x or 9.x is the latest. Maybe the PS4100 have to run on 9.x somedays and running a mixed FW group is not supportet
