7591 Overheating Even While Not In Use
7591 2n1 w/ i7-10510U, 16GB RAM, 1 TB M.2, GeForce MX250 2GB
Just purchased this 2wks ago and I use my computer for college so I always make sure that I charge it overnight so it's fully charged when I wake up for classes in the morning. This morning I unplug it and check that it had 100%, put it in my backpack, and 2hrs later when I go to take it out I notice that my fan is nearly on high and it's been churning away the whole time in my backpack. It made the inside of my backpack extremely hot and when I set the computer in my lap it was very hot as well - much hotter than what it gets when I'm editing video in DaVinci Resolve. Also, my battery was at 42% and it seems like it never went to sleep, which it's supposed to do after 1hr, since it booted up so quickly and I never saw the "DELL" loading screen. I have thermal management set to "Cool" in Dell Power Manager. Here are the max temps reached for each core according to the program Core Temp.
Core #1: 73°C
Core #2: 90°C
Core #3: 80°C
Core #4: 75°C
What's the problem here???

Seems like it never shut down when you plugged it in. Either that, or it is on standby.
