Only the seller can help, but if it's original,it's not new - the date code means the battery was made in 2014.

The fourth field in the alphanumeric code by the QR is the date code -- the first digit (4 if I read it correctly) means 2014.

am also facing the same problems. somebody tell me to check the authenticity of dell battery.

I'd be worried about the battery quality or safety if it's not genuine Dell. I would be worried about the quality or safety of the battery if it was not a genuine Dell product. <Removed ad link Dell-Admin>
