RAM speed compatibility issue
My Dell Inspiron 5570 8550U i7 8th Generation laptop has DDR4 8GB 2400MHz RAM. I would like to upgrade the main memory by adding an extra 3200MHz RAM. Can I use 3200MHz RAM along with the existing 2400MHz RAM?
Does my laptop support 3200MHz RAM?

Probably, assuming the RAM timing is OK; that said, don't expect the RAM to run at 3200 MHz -- the CPU controls the RAM speed. If your current RAM runs at 2400, 3200 MHz RAM will downclock to match.
