Inspiron 16 5620 Touchpad cursor jumping/freezing/clicking Issue Solution I stumbled onto

I have had Inspiron 16 5620 for a couple of years and just a few months ago my touchpad became unusable as the cursor would flicker, freeze and won't register clicks even when you hovered over a button, link etc. I updated with the latest updates and it did not resolve it.

Symptom: After I start using the laptop it works for a few minutes and then the cursor goes shaking
