Vertical Colored Lines on display
Hello
I have bought a Dell Inspiron 5559 laptop with Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6200U CPU @ 2.30GHz 2.40 GHz a few years ago. It was Ok, but today the display shows some vertical color lines (like the photo I have taken from it).
What is the problem and what do I must do to remove the problem? Meanwhile I have updated the windows, but it did not make the display better.
Thank you in advance.

Start by running a screen diagnostic -- hold D through powerup. If the fault shows on the test screens, the screen is bad and will need to be replaced.
If it does not, the problem is elsewhere -- either a bad display cable or a bad mainboard.

I tried to do screen diagnostic as you guided. But nothing happened and the PC started as usual.
I mean I pressed D key while the PC was coming up.
What is your idea?

You need to hold the D key and then press the power key, holding D through powerup until the screen self-test starts.
