SSD drives to HDD drives
Is it in any way possible to change the 3 SSD disks in an X400 system to a regular HDD.
When I try I get this error.
The ratio of SSD to HDD in this node is wrong. The node has 0 SSD(s) and 36 HDD(s), however, it should have 3 SSD(s) and 33 HDD(s). Correct the drive configuration according to the instructions in the OneFS Help system
This is my produkt. I had spare HDD on stuck but no SSD. Do i have to buy new SSD ?
Product: X400-4U-Dual-96GB-2x1GE-2x10GE SFP+-66TB-1229GB SSD

Hello PYS,
The only way to change it is to have support change it. Since you did the reset that is the only other option.

Hello PYS,
You can’t replace SSD drives with HDD drives unless you reset your system back to factory. You will need to purchase SSD to replace SSD drives.

Hello PYS,
Yes, you can use isi_reformat_node & it will reset the system back to factory. I would make sure that you copy all data off the system as it will be wiped.

Okay thanks.
Can now see all disk healthy. And it works.
But i keep getting this event:
The ratio of SSD to HDD drives in this node is outside the recommended configuration. The node has 0 SSD(s) and 36 HDD(s). The correct ratio is 3 SSD(s) and 33 HDD(s). Correct the drive configuration according to the instructions in the X410 Drive Replacement
I think is have something with the configuration of my X400
SerNo: SX400-231347-0161
Config: 400-0029-01
FamCode: X
ChsCode: 4U
GenCode: 00
Product: X400-4U-Dual-96GB-2x1GE-2x10GE SFP+-66TB-1229GB SSD
is there eny why to change this so i dont get the event code. or do i just have to ignore it ?
