Using API to create snapshotIQ and syncIQ policies

hello all

we are starting on the journey to attempt to automate the creation of policies.  I am very new to the rest API world, never mind trying to get them to update stuff.  I have the Dell API guide but that assumes a level of knowledge I don't have yet.

Are there any good blogs or tips people can advise of to get me started on this?
