I have a dell inspiron n5010 and have had the hard drive fail -- an therefore had to reinstall everything. A dell tech person came out and did the work for me... but when I tried to use my "dell webcam center" it was no where to be found. I tried to find a driver to fix this problem like 3 months ago and then gave up--decided to look again today and your link is the FIRST to work so thank you very much for posting this.

download or carry from other person the web cam software of N5110 and install it your web cam will work properly

Hello, Recently 2 days before i have purchased a 15R n5010 model laptop with dos support. I have installed Windows 7 Ultimate OS on this machine. LAN and Web cam dirvers (Microsoft default web cam driver) got installed automatically. remaining all drivers and applications downloaded from DELL web site and installed properly. Now I want proper integrated web cam driver and application for Dell 15R n5010 modem. Please let me know the link, from where i can download and install the driver and application. Thanks in advance..!!!!

The Dell Webcam Central works best for n5010 webcam and you get very good clarity!!

The webcam diagnostics listed above DO NOT work on IE9

The Webcam Diagnostics that I want you to run does NOT use Internet Explorer. It runs outside of Windows. If you run the Webcam Diagnostics and answer the questions below, I can tell you what you need to do to get the webcam working.

OS has  been recently reformatted. Webcam did work but  just disappeared from under Programs and a System Restore did not resolve. I tried the troubleshooting but it did not work. When I try to run the diagnostics under IE9, the "Run Diagnostics" is greyed out.

Laptop is not under warranty. I suspect a recent  MS Update did this but cant narrow down which one.
