Adding a new SN850X drive
Hi,
I have a question about my Dell Latitude 5531 laptop.
I have a SN810 nvme 1TB in it and I want to add a second nvme (e.g. SN850X 2TB). The total storage capacity will be 3TB.
Will this configuration be correct?
On the page dell manuals I see a capacity of up to 2TB - but in total or for each m.2 slot separately?
Will the original heatsink from the laptop effectively cool the new drive?
Thank you

It'll work fine -- but unless the system came with a second drive, there likely won't be a mounting plate for the new drive.

@ejn63 Thanks for your answer. I installed 2TB SN850X and it works ok. Temperatures in idle around 38. When copying 50GB it increases to 60 degrees. Under benchmark up to 70 degrees C.
