Mic array issues with Lat 3400 series Laptops

I have been facing a re-occurring issue with our Lat 3400 series laptops where the microphone array fails. Microphone sounds like its in a wind tunnel and visualizer is full. Not able to hear anything voice, snapping fingers, just a static type sound. No amount of software troubleshooting that we do appears to correct the issue and the only way we have found to resolve it is to put in a microphone replacement request and it will work afterwards. Has anyone else in the community been having this issue and found a way to fix it through software? Or is there just a really high rate of failure for these mic arrays?

Anyone have any advise? This has happened to many of our devices.

Software troubleshooting:

Disable and Reenable device (Fails to correct the issue)

Uninstall Driver and remove software and reinstall. (Fails to correct the issue)

Bios Update to whatever is the latest version on the product support page (Fails to correct the issue)

Dell command updates (Fails to correct the issue)

Windows built in sound troubleshooter (Fails to correct the issue)

Windows OS Reset (Fails to correct the issue)
