My Dell Latitude E7440
My Dell Latitude E7440 won't boot up
I've been using this PC for 2 years now and from time to time I've always encountered issues I don't even understand the first time it was my fan and processor which both got replacement and the PC worked well. Now this time it won't boot after a particular incident from day before. I was using my PC Normally to test a program that I coded all of sudden the screen started to glitch out and and my PC froze so then I decided to hard restart it but upon turning it on the PC never booted up it only showed a blinking light on the power sign I don't know what to do whether to replace the battery or take out the RAM or even replace the RAM entirely I don't even know if this is the result of a memory leak everything is too confusing and I haven't gotten the slightest clue as to what to I don't want to risk opening my PC I just want to know what to tell the person that's going to repair my system to do

Is this an E7440 (from 2013) or a 7440 (from 2023)?
Unplug the system, remove the base cover and disconnect the battery from the mainboard. Hold the power button for 30 sec. If it's the old E7440, remove and reinstall the memory module(s) and see if the system will then power up and boot after you reassemble it. If it's the 2023 7440, the memory is not removeable -- if the system still won't power up and boot after you reassemble it, it likely needs a mainboard replacement.

If the reset described above does not help, any repair consideration should include the value of the system -- $50-under $100 at best.
