Strange WD15 Power Issue
I'm having a strange problem with a WD 15 I purchased with a Latitude 7285. When I connect the WD15 dock to power (i.e. plug it in to the outlet), the blue light on the male end of the power cable for the WD15 turns on, suggesting that power in flowing. However as soon as I plug the power cable into the WD15, the blue light turns off and the dock itself does not turn on.
I've tried multiple permutations of this including unplugging everything from the dock and connect power first, and multiple different power sources (including directly to the wall or to a APC surgery protector/battery backup) and always the same.
Am I missing something?

I have a similar issue, where a particular laptop began to experience issues connecting/integrating with the WD15, and the light at the end of the USB-C remains lit!? This is regardless of whether it's connected to a laptop or not (and regardless of which laptop it's now being used with). Obviously if you pull its 130W, the light goes out. But as soon as the power is restored, the cable lights up again!
The laptop in question just had it's MB replaced (as it did appear that the USB-C port was breaking away), and works fine on another Dell Dock. This WD15, however, is still an issue! The light is still lit up!
It's almost as if the Dell Dock is stuck in some kind of state...and needs to be reset. The alternative is that it's now broken and needs to be replaced [$$].

Greetings,
Got this Issue with several docks. Issue is in USB-C cabele is missing contact with dock. Try to lift cable and You will see that computer loses/gains connection with dock. Poor Design. Ordering Len0v0 next Year.

Workaround:
Lift small part of rubber below dock, near USB-C and unscrew 2 screws. I added some rubber to better hold that connector and screwed in those screws.

You can reset the monitor by pressing the Menu button on the monitor itself, and selecting Restore Factory Settings. Or disconnect the monitor from your docking station and power off and on to reset. The video on the attached monitor is not displaying as an extended monitor.
