Linux FC5 hibernate/suspend on Dimension 8300?
Hi all,
i have installed the new Fedora Core 5 Linux on my PC and all works great. I have only a problem with the hibernate and the suspend function, it doesn't work. If i push the suspend-button the PC goes down. After a restart i can only see some SATA-ERRORS. And if i try the hibernate-button the PC goes also down and after a restart the PC boot's up to a point and restarts again but normal.
I have a DELL Dimension 8300 with two SATA 120GB disk and a ATI 9800 nonPro graphiccard. The system is up to date (with yum). Kernel ver.: 2.6.16-1.2080_FC5smp
Can anybody help?
Regards
Michael
