Hey guys,

I made a dell community account for the sole purpose of getting some help.

I just made a purchase from newegg.com of a 

 

AMD Phenom 9600 Agena 2.3GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache 2MB L3 Cache Socket AM2+ 95W Quad-Core Processor

so I was pretty excited and I installed it and booted up the system. But for some reason, the computer would turn on, but would not boot up. The LED power button was a solid orange. I then installed my old processor which is a AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+ 2.0 GHz and it booted up like a charm!

Is it faulty product? Or maybe something different! PLEASE HELP MEE!!!!
