* How many of you use this?

+1

I use CPUID Hardware monitor primarily.  Small, everything is there in one little screen, and max/min memory.

I don't I use HW Monitor, CPUz  and Coretemp primarily.  More accurate and in my opinion easier to use.

Don't use it.  It's too big of a "production" just to see key data.  Would be OK if it just showed all the information on a small screen... and was accurate.

Use HWMonitor, CPUZ, GPU-Z, CoreTemps.

I do not use nVmonitor, too noisy and way too much work to load.

I usse CoreTemp, temps display on tool bar at the bottom of screen all the time, no switching back and forth.  Also use Cpuid CPUz, and occasionally PC Wizard 2008, quick programs, in and out.

Use DriveDective in place of update in nVcontol as well. ESA is a great idea, but needs follow through, sorta like IntelVIIV, much ado about not a lot. Removd 6.03 and back to 6.02 because of GPU fan issues.  Removed Speedfan as well, was not impressed.

I use it for the eventlog feature, so that I can see how my temps, fan speed and cpu speed changes during gaming, etc..

NVMonitor bundled with 6.02, inaccurate but worked and looked pretty.

NVMonitor bundled with 6.03, took forever to start then locked my system.

I use CPUz, GPUz and RivaTuner.

NB. All ESA removed from system, everything more responsive.

Add me to the list of people NOT using NVMonitor. Too much bling to get the info you need.

I use HWMonitor and cpuz to get the info I need easily and uncluttered.

I don't. IMO overrated. I use a combination of HWMonitor, GPU-Z, and CPU-Z--simple, lean, and they don't take over my desktop.
Simple software that accurately and reliably does what it's supposed to, will in my book, always win.

Real Temp and GPU-Z here. I love the realtime 4 core temperature display in the tray

It looked really cool from the Dell site on pre-order, but it is not as smooth in use. Seems to lag the system on start-up; but it's cute, that's about it.

Guess after the novelty wears off (5 minutes) users prefer faster loading method, sleek, in-line, and shows what needs to be show without all the fluff. The NVMonitor is more fluff than substance. Okay, it shows most of the monitors, yet there are monitors that just don't function: CPU2, and Hard Drives (there is no information displayed in NVControl Panel - with or without SMART check; nothing has ever been displayed.)

The NVMonitor also covers up ALL open windows and there's no way to work with other windows when NVMonitor is displayed on the desktop; NVMonitor is intrusive.

Also, there is that annoying balloon message from the System Tray, "NVMonitor is still running". Like... um... it's not supposed to be? And this balloon pops up quite frequently to become annoying very fast.

I haven't used any other monitors yet. I'd be curious to try any new versions if Dell has some ideas. - In the past I tried a few monitors on WinXP; they did not function for what I WANTED, were not compatible, or needed to be bought to use.

NVMonitor is more annoying than helpful.

Yes, I know this. I was replying to the poll, not asking for help.

If you choose which monitors you want to remain open by clicking on them, you can then close the rest of the program.  The little monitor boxes you choose remain and can be placed anywehre on the desktop.
