Windows 2000, unknown device (device manager)
Bought a dimension 8100 P4, 1.3GHz, a year ago (limited edition). Geforce 2MX, 256MB RAM, no modem, 3com nic, Sony CDRW (as well as Samsung CD).
This system came with Me but I had Windows 2000 so am using that instead. However, in device manager I get a "device unknown" and the exclamation mark. I've installed drivers for video, ata and intel 800 chipset but its still there. Could it be a CDRW thing (though this is showing up alright under DVD\CD ROM drives). I've also installed SP2 and BIOS is A02.
Any help most appreciated.
