Separately disable wireless

Hello, im just wondering is it possible to separately disable wireless lan from
bluetooth to preserve battery.
I have D610 and logitech bluetooth mouse and often i dont have needs for wlan.
I know that i could disable lan from systray but im not sure that can stop wlan to use battery.

Thank you in advance.

To turn off the wlan card, you have to do it through the wlan card utility. If it is a Dell WLAN card, go to all programs under start menu and you should find it. Open it and look for something that allows you to disable the radio. If you have the Intel PRO/Set Wireless Card, the utility should be in systray. If not, follow same directions as the Dell card.

Yes it should. Wi-fi greatly shortens battery life.
