U2412M, 1920x1200 issue
I recently purchased a U2412M. After restarting my Windows 8 PC with the monitor plugged in, the display on the screen seems to be shifted to the right.

Please help. I've tried so many ways to fix this bug but none of them have really helped. When I switch the resolution to 1920x1200, it says that the native resolution is actually 1920x1080. But when I switch it to 1920x1080, everything becomes more elongated. The resolution that the monitor displays is actually 1920x1200 but the computer seems to think otherwise. I am using a VGA cable and a USB cable which is what the instructions say. I cannot use a DVI cable because my PC doesn't have a port for it. I find this very annoying and it makes doing anything with the PC horrible.
Please Help!

The default resolution for this monitor is 1920x1200@ 60Hz. But the video card and driver have to support this resolution.
* While connected to the turned on computer
* The windows desktop resolution should be 1920x1200@ 60Hz
* Press the monitor Menu button
* Go to Other Settings- Factory Reset- Reset All Settings
* The bottom of this screen will list two resolutions, make sure they both read 1920x1200@ 60Hz. The left one is the resolution being sent to the monitor by the computer. The right one is the monitor maximum
* Go to Auto Adjust in the Menu and run it

When I go back into the Menu it only shows one resolution which is: 1920x1200@ 60Hx
And then when I click Auto Adjust, the display moves a bit but it still looks the same.

Ok. It sounds like the monitor is setup correctly showing the correct resolution. The monitor itself is fine. The culprit is the computer driver or setting. Restart the computer and go into safemode. Once in, restart into normal mode. Does it still look shifted right?
* Right click the desktop
* Click Personalize
* Click Screen Resolution
* You should be at 1920x1200. What does yours show?

When in Safe Mode, everything looks fine but the monitor is somehow set to 64hz.
When I go back into Normal Mode, it is still shifted right.
My screen resolution shows 1920x1200

You need to test this monitor on another computer. I think the fault lies with this computer or the VGA cable.
