Reading other complaints about backlight bleed on this forum with Dell policy conveying this is typical! I'm waiting for the second U3219Q from Dell to see if this is so called typical. If so, this is a poor designed monitor and need to return and purchase from different monitor company. Since Dell purchases monitors from either LG or Samsung leaving them with just designing surrounding frame, Dell has failed.
Ordered one then requested replacement that was even worse. The "backlight bleed" is horrendous and along what other issues. The Dell service is slow and not even helpful. Yeah, they respond to emails but from where they're located but have no clue how to respond to problem especially shipping issues.

No response back from Dell on the poor backlight bleed on the U3219Q and many other Dell monitor even 8k version.
