You should be able to get these reports in the reports section of the NMC gui.

You can also enable the Email Notifications to get reports automatically in to your mailbox at the end of the group.

Even, the standard notifications and report generation are not capable of providing the following my requirement:

1. The Number of Backup failures in a day

2. Total Incremental backup duration

3. Total weekly full backup duration

Can you provide some ideas on this....

You should be able to get the number of backup failures from the NMC reports. To get the total durations, you would have to get the data from the NMC reports and do some calculations Can't think of any other way out.

Through Report from NMC you can find the solution . For example Go to
Reports --> Networker Backup Status --> Group Details . Here you can find the failed groups with in the range and also same Networker Backup status ---> Save set details , Here you can find the incremental failed , succeed backup and more .

You need to create a seperate thread for your email notification issue. Its not good practice nor helpful to ask for different solutions in the one thread.

Email nofications have been answered many times in the forum. Have you tried to search the forum for possible solution?

Preferably, you would need some mailing utility from the OS that can send out mails on OS level. Most of my customers use mail as the software. Put the mailing syntax into the notification that you want to enable. Need more details, open a new thread.
