computer not booting
my computer is just displaying a message : Alert ! Cover was previously removed
when trying to boot and it does not boot any further.what might be the problem. i formatted the harddrive on an HP machine,could this have an effect like this

If "format" as you call it - means you installed Windows using the HP then that is the problem. Windows sets up based on the hardware that it was installed on. If you move it, there can be many problems with Windows starting or operating or even Activating Windows with Microsoft.
