Cannot connect to Wifi

I have Recently purchased a new Desktop computer, a Dell optiplex 790. I have gone through the setup for windows 10 but cannot connect to the internet wirelessly. I found I do not have Wireless adaptor Software and went to install some but when I tried to set it up it said I do not have intel drivers installed, but in my network adaptors in clearly says I have an Intel(R) 82579LM gigabit network connection, I've spent about 2 hours now trying to find a solution on youtube and other forums but can't find anything. Any help would be appreciated.

790 does not have built in wireless adapter, you need to get a discrete wireless adapter, either USB stick or PCIex1 card. The intel 82579LM gigabit network connection is for Ethernet LAN wired internet connection.

If your router/wifi device isn't too far away, the cheap usb dongles work very well. Most of them use a realtech chip, and win 10 automatically installs drivers. I got one from china for 99 cents, but took a while to get here. You can also get them from us vendors for a few dollars.
