PowerEdge T110 ii , does not boot

I have PowerEdge T110 ii working perfectly , I noticed yesterday that an Amber light blinking

on the front panel . I turned it off and looked inside ; every thing seemed to be good .

Now it does not able to boot , I have now the error blinking numbers 1 3 4 along side the amber light blinking .....

What should I do ? How can I define what part of hardware or panel resource has a problem ?

Best Regards .

Hello,

The indication of 1 3 4, would be indicating to a mother failure. Mentioned that t does not able to boot, are you able to see the BIOS screen? Usually we refer that as POST, as boot would be more to not able to load operating system.

If in a case that you are not able to see BIOS, or the Dell logo, I would suggest you to do a few troubleshooting steps.

Try to bring the server to minimum POST components. Then try to turn on the server to check if it's able to load into OS. If yes, install back 1 by 1 of the remaining components.

Reference of T110 II Minimum to POST components:

  • System Board
  • Processor with Heatsink
  • 1 DIMM in slot 1
  • Power Supply
  • Control Panel and Cable
