R440 server warning led

Hi,

Please check the below photos about the led warning of R440 server , the led is yellow. What does this mean?How to check the detailed information?

Because my christalball is in maintanence you should by your next PowerEdge with "LED Bezel" because the errors will be shown on the LCD screen than.

In the meantime you should connect to the iDRAC with your browser to see which alarm is active. When there you should configure iDRAC notification by mail also.

If you have access to the OS you should install OMSA and iDrac Tools(gives "racadm") and also with the later you can pull the alarms from the hardware trough the OS.

Hello,

Just checked the server with the hardware Diagnostics function, Please check the attached screen shot, it looks like the memory is not working or other issue?

Hello,

it seems that there are many ECC errors in the log. I suggest first to clear logs using OMSA and then you can restart again this diagnostic tool to see if issue are still present.

Also check BIOS and firmware updates
