R740 doesn't POST

My R740 doesn't post.

The minimal Configuration doesn't work either.
I get either "The system board Pfault fail-safe voltage is outside of range.",  "CPU 1 MEM345 VPP PG voltage is outside of range." (if both CPU installed CPU2 MEM012 too) or one time i got even this:

"The system board Consumption current is greater than the upper critical threshold."

Mainbord LED are 1-1-0-0-1-B-B

Hello thanks for choosing Dell and welcome to our community.
I am suspecting you many need some hardware replacement.
Minimum to post means 1 DIMM 1 CPU: If you get MEM345 with 1 DIMM installed, most likely the issue is with the motherboard. Please try different DIMM/CPU in slot A1/CPU socket 1.

@DELL-Young E I've all ready tried that too.

I've bought it already used, listed as "fully Functional" but this error seems to have appeared on the previous owner.. I guess the Replacement would be like double what i payed for the server..

Do you have any other suggestions that might could work before im gonna refund it to the seller? because if there is no other possible solution, i might just continue to use my R730 and R730XD.

Because if thats the case, i would just refund it and might buy a New R750 or even R760 next year

Hello,

Young is correct.

If you have brought it down to minimum to POST and it still has the issue with those voltage errors, it is likely it will need the system board replaced.

The components mentioned below are the minimum configuration for R740 to POST:

● One processor (CPU) in socket processor 1

● One memory module (DIMM) in socket A1

● One power supply unit

● Right control panel and cable (for power button functionality)

● System board
