Dell PowerVault TL1000 cannot reset default GUI password

Hi!

As I'm trying to enter WebGUI of Dell PowerVault TL1000, I got a problem: default password should be changed for new. But new password is always wrong.

There are no success with any combination of new password.

I tried IE, Firefox, Chrome - no luck. Tried to reset to default TL1000 as well.

Firmware is 0109.3000

Can anybody help me to resolve this issue.

Hi Diego!

 

Yeah, I've tried mentioned default credentials.

I found root of cause.

Actually new password didn't meet default minimum requirements policy. Funny thing, there is no pop-up window about wrong password. Nothing.

I suppose, this issue should be marked as a bug.

Have you tried with? 

User: admin

Pass: secure

 

I suggest you also to check this post: https://dell.to/3xgiaCK When there was a similar issue with an admin password lockout.
