Hello @ndn1992,
No, don't worry too much about the NetApp mention on the log, this is normal, I've seen this in the past. However, the firmwate version is 07.84.47.60. This version is really too old... (24 July 2013) more than 10 versios old..
You really need to update the firmware. This is the last version: 08.20.24.60
Please, let us know if you need any other help.
Regards.

Hey,
how would i go about that? i cant access the pause/ break menu to configure anything and it automatically puts you in the shell as soon as it starts booting up

->
Serial Port shell started.
any way i can stop this happening so i can configure the controller?

Well.. I guess it wouldn't discover via Modular Disk Storage Manage and that's why you are using a serial cable to see the output.
Do you have two controllers or only one? If it is dual, you should be able to switch their places and check the boot to see if you got the same error.
In the logs you shared I see an issue with the database. I think that's the reason why the controller is affected. I don't think it is a lockdown status, so the controller is not booting to a state that can’t access the system configuration.
Do you have any drives in the system. You must have drives in slots 0 & 1 in order to boot correctly.
Regards.
