MD3820f mgmt
We received a used MD3820f storage with 2 controllers that do not respond to the connection plugged into the MGMT port, neither by DHCP nor at IP addresses 192.168.128.101/102 or 192.168.129.101/102. The controller does not have a serial port, a mini USB and a normal USB all available in total. How can I make the storage admin interface accessible, or how can I do a factory reset?

Hello Tamas,
Here is the Dell part# VPNP6 for the serial cable. It is a usb miniature to DB9 cable. You will need the serial cable to reset the IP address of your system or if you want to do a factory reset.

I ordered it, but a lot of time until it is delivered to Hungary, but I can do one by hand :), can you possibly show me a wiring diagram for this?

Hello,
Based on the part description, the cable looks to be a standard cable. The best advice I could give would be to reference a standard pinout diagram from one of these cables. Obtaining any of these sorts of diagrams would be something that you'd need to do, unfortunately.
