TL2000 LTO8 Support
HI
Does anybody know the TL2000 supports the use of LTO8?
I have it running LTO7, and the Library seems to recognize the LTO8 Tape Drive, but it won't recognize the Media, so I just need to check that it is supported.
Can you please advise.

Yes it does.
I take it you have the latest firmware installed on the library?
You will also need to partition the library i would think.

Hello Sean,
The LTO 8 drive is supported by your TL2000. Here is the link to the support matrix & the LTO8 is showing as supported on page 9. https://downloads.dell.com/manuals/common/powervault_tape_compatibility_matrix.pdf
When you inserted your LTO8 drive did you flash the firmware on your library? Your LTO8 drive should be running firmware version JAYD.
