Hi @B.Jan Ahmad ,

Check out VR-Ready system requirement recommended by:

Nvidia

AMD

Apart from GPUs, they both with similar requirement on the followings:

  • CPU - Intel Core i5- 4590 / Xeon E3-1240 v3 / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X or greater
  • RAM - 8GB+ RAM
  • OS - Windows 7 SPI (64bit) or higher
  • USB - USB 2.0 x 1 (HTC Vive) or USB 2.0 x 1 + USB 3.0 x 3 (Oculus Rift)

For GPUs:

  • AMD - RX / R9 / Pro WX 7100+ / Pro SSG / Pro Duo / FirePro W9100
  • Nvidia -

    For Desktop - NVIDIA Quadro RTX 8000, RTX 6000, RTX 5000, RTX 4000, GV100, GP100, P6000, P5000, P4000, M6000, M5000

    For Mobile - NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000, RTX 4000, RTX 3000, P5200, P5000, P4200, P4000, P3200, P3000, M5500

Therefore, back to your final question, CPU/RAM of Precision 7730 series ready for VR. And during online purchase, you can find P3200 which is VR-ready as well. But of course it's the lowest one among it's family members and may only provide entry-level VR experience.

Hi @B.Jan Ahmad ,

Varies VR headsets got them own system requirement, as well as different level regarding Minimum Requirement and Recommended Requirement. Take Oculus for example, GTX960 as the starting point which even lower than P3000.

If you target on recommended requirement, focus on it and no need struggle on a just-make GPU.
