In Windows 10, you can search for devices and printers by entering ‘devices’ as shown below and click on the ‘Devices and Printers’ Click on Devices and Printers in Large or Small icons view of control panel. Now you will be seeing the offline printer (slightly faded). Right click on it and select ‘See what’s printing.If the printer is in offline state you would be seeing the tick mark front of ‘Use Printer Offline’. Remove the tick mentioned below and wait for some time printer to come online and resume printing. If the printer comes online and goes offline again, that could be due to real connectivity or hardware issue on the printer. Better you fix those issues and restart the printer. I have resolved this by reinstalling the software and let the "find my printer" do its bit (made sure printer was connected to my WiFi).
I did wonder during the first install how the installation software would find a printer that has not connected to my network - the guide kind of implies the Easy Install wizard will do it all.
With hindsight it is pretty obvious - perhaps the Setup guide could be updated to mention the printer must be connected to WiFi so that the Easy Install can find it? (I could not find any mention of this as a prerequisite).

Firstly thank you for taking the time to reply.
