V515W, print head latch

Question

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help but not holding my breath.  My Dell v515w 4-in-one inkjet printer is 6 years old.  One of the hinges on the printhead LATCH has just broken off.  It will not print with out the latch in place.  I have contacted Dell who says they don't make that part any more.  I have contacted a local computer place that says basically the same thing.  I have looked online but all I can see is printheads for sale, not the actual latch.  I'm hoping someone may have some idea as to where I might be able to get this part, as I am most unimpressed that it looks like I'm going to have to buy a new printer just because of one tiny broken part. Everything else was working perfectly.  Thanks in advance :)

Your Dell Printer V515w was made for Dell by Lexmark. I have a link for a Replacement Printhead but I don't think it has the part that comes down over the printhead. I would try Lexmark as a starting point.

hi buy a glue gun for welding plastic chose the gun with the small sticks the same gose to your friend who replied ok have a good day
