Where is Microsoft Office Word 2003 program located ???

I have Microsoft Office Small Business Edition 2003 installed by Dell on my XPS running WindowsXP.  Why, when I go to START -> All Programs -> Microsoft Office -> doesn't  "Microsoft Office Word 2003" appear?   All the other Office programs do - Office Tools, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Publisher .

The Word program functions ( I've created numerous documents over the past 5 months), but where is the application located?

By the way, what prompts this query is that a dictionary I've installed wants to know this location, too. Also, I just want to know (of course).

Thanks,

Jim

I don't have XP as my operating system, but if you do a search from the start button for the program, the results should give you the path to its location.

Operating system has nothing to do with Office. Search for WINWORD.EXE and make your own shortcut.

In a normal install, the dictionaries are located at C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Proof. They are the files with .lex extension.

Winword.exe would normally be in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10 for XP/2002. For 2003, I think it would be \Office11

Thanks, all.  Indeed, I did a search for WINWORD, located the program and placed a shortcut renamed "Microsoft Office Word 2003" into the Microsoft Office 2003 folder.  All is now as it should be.
