Hi Rinrior,

thank you for contacting us.

The R515 is designed to use only 1 PCIe Slot for Storage.

See Page 38

I found on Reddit that some people get managed to use the other PCIe slots only in OS.

Please provide me Feedback if you have further questions.

With kind regards Martin

Hello Martin,

Thank you for your answer, it's very helpfull.

We tried install 2 nvme-cards on other server - R620, but we have the same problem. Can you advice, what we can do in this case, please?

Hello Martin,

Thank you for your help.

Unfortunately it isn't my case. In my case I installed 2 pcie nvme ssd in pcie risers and the server detects only one nvme ssd. I checked the risers and they work fine. Also I have pcie nvme ssds in several other R620 and they work fine. So my question: What went wrong if the server detects only one nvme card (but if I set only 1 nvme, then the server detects this in both risers)?

Hello Rinrior

Can you tell any difference from this R620 and the other R620 that has 2 PCIe NVMe drives installed?

I can recommend check firmware and drivers are up to date, check your S110 controller settings in the BIOS and check the slot priority in the user guide.
