Hi JortC,

It may be that we have not added the feature to the BIOS. Server 2019 is not a validated OS for the R300. Which CPU is it?

Hi,

I agree with Josh saying if you think the processor is supported it may not be working due to some restrictions on the BIOS or chipset. It appears here that the processor supports EPT yes. but there is a problem because the operating system is not supported by this server.

I've checked Windows Server 2019 System Requirements. In the part about the processor, it mentions a tool called coreinfo, with which you can control the CPU.

However, as I said, I'm not sure if there is any way to install it. Because R300 doesn't support Windows Server 2019 officially.

Hey there.

This system is at least 10 years old. For the lifetime of our systems our development and engineering teams are investigating if a new operating system can run on the system, if so, they release firmware updates to make it a supported os.

This happened on the R300 too, this system supports Windows Server from 2003 up to 2012 R2.
But there will be no support for 2016 nor 2019.

It looks like you tried everything possible to get it running.

Maybe someone else here in the community had the same challenge and was able to master it, if so, please feel free to share your solution.

There is nothing more what we, as Dell Technical Support, can offer you, I'm afraid.

Best regards
Stefan
