I have volumes that are not attached to any splitter. When I try to attach them, I get the warning

"Attaching to volume will cause volume sweep. If you are sure that the host application has not previously written data to the volume, avoid volume sweep by declaring the volume to be clean."

Not sure what that means. I know that data has been written to the LUN. Please clarify.
