Firstly, welcome to the forums, and thank you for being an EMC customer.
You would find, or maybe already tried, that Unisphere (and naviseccli) prevents you from placing the WIL on pool LUNs (thin or thick). There isn't any way to circumvent this and is strictly enforced.
If all of your disks have been bound in pools, you could also consider placing them on the remaining space on the system drives (first 4 drives). This is also suggested in the "MirrorView Knowledge Book" available on Powerlink via the following breadcrumb trail:
