i originally thought i had an issue searching attachments, but upon investigation it appears the message i was trying to search an attachment on doesn't show up at all in the search. it seems random, for instance an email item from today shows up, yet one from yesterday does not.

if i search on date ranges, some of it is there, some of it is not. I'm not sure if it's a configuration issue, or an indexing issue, but i can see that even though we're journaling and archiving everything, everything is not showing up via the search.
