does any one know what are the conditions to set the tressholds

I have configure for

conectivity device status change
conectivity port status change
port link status change

the following tresholds:

fatal =5
Critical=4
Warning=3
Minor=2
Information=1

Let me tell you that I have Cisco and Brocade Switches.

I don't know it these values are the good ones for my alerts?
