Corrupted update download
Dell support system recently downloaded an update
'Dell update app for win10 ver 4.0'
it refuses to validate and install. Is there a way of deleting this download file and start again as it looks like a file corruption has taken place.

You can find the Dell Support Assist installation file at https://dell.to/3pQUgtD
Once you download it please right click on it and run as administrator to complete the installation.

Hi
Found and reinstalled supportassist. Run it with no errors (or drivers to install). The Dell update you pointed me to still does not install with the same install error.
