How to offline/export virtual disk before removing the phy disk online?

it seems OK.

perccli /c1/e0/s1 set offline

perccli /c1/e0/s2 set offline

perccli /c1/e0/s3 set offline

perccli /c1/e0/s4 set offline

 

can we run

perccli /c1/e0/s1 set offline

perccli /c1/e0/s2 set offline

perccli /c1/e0/s3 set offline

perccli /c1/e0/s4 set offline

 

as one command?

 

perccli /c1/e0/s1 set offline

perccli /c1/e0/s2 set offline

perccli /c1/e0/s3 set offline

perccli /c1/e0/s4 set offline

we can't run all these commands as one entity , at one shot.

Each and every command has to be executed serially to make Physical Disk offline.

This will give some insight on the couple of inputs for this scenario.

1. what is the controllers of both the server where to make VD offline.

2. Current installed Operating systems on these 2 servers.

3. Any specific reason for not shutting down server

Hi, 1. even with physical disk being online, you can remove from one server and insert into another server. this action should not cause any problem. 2. anyhow since you are getting some problem with this action I would suggest below action 3. under virtual disk, click on virtual disk name. this will list all the physical disks which are part of virtual disk. 4. under physical disk task, you can make physical disk offline. then you can remove PD and use it under other controller Thank you.
