Wait! How do i choose the SD card as the download destination?

I dug around and it seems like I have to change the default install location via adb access. Does this seem correct?

I found a guide on modifying USB drivers to work with the device. I have experience with flashing Lollipop onto my Nexus 7 so I'm planning to do this when I get home.

Another month has passed and still no word? 

Brian from Dell posted the other day that there's no set date yet, and when there is we'll be notified.

I am afraid that it is as Brian has mentioned, I still don't have a specific date when Lollipop will be made available. I am keeping a watch on this constantly and I will post here immediately once I have any specific dates.  I thank all of you for your patience.

I wait this thread for long time. It's almost the end of March but still no any update lollipop will come. I don't know what happen in development process. Hey you guy this is so long you know ?  You promise us lollipop will come and there is not so why. I will return this tablet if lollipop still no available at the end if March. Sorry

Tap the Play Movies& TV icon.  Tap My Library then Settings.  There's a place to set the downloads location.

I haven't figured out how to install games to the SD card, but for movies and TV you can use this workaround.

Good to know that Dell was never really serious about their tablet market.

I wonder why their stock is dumping?

Um... Dell went private... there is no more stock being traded.

Also, to note is that no production Intel device to this date has Lollipop 5.0 yet.  I learned this from the issues that the ConsoleOS (consoleos.com) team is having.  Intel has not released the full development toolkit to build Android Lollipop for Intel supposedly and manufacturers are waiting on this.

Sorry, I don't know for intel device in production. However,  please let me know why Zenfone2 that use the same chip Z3580 will be released with lollipop in the first sale?

The Zenfone 2 hasn't been released here in the US yet.

I have been given a date for the release of Lollipop revision 5.01 for the Venue 8.  It is now expected to be released on April the 21.  I will continue to post here with any additional news when it becomes available.

Awesome! Longer than I'd like, but it's good to have a solid date. Hopefully it's 5.1 if it's taking that long.
