[ASAP] emc unity xt380 nas ftp issue
Unity XT 380 equipment and firmware is 5.2.0.5.173.
I'm using it as a file (NAS) and I'm using FTP.
share name : mnd
ftp://ip address /mnd_imghome
ftp://ip address /A
ftp://ip address /B
ftp://ip address /C
ftp://ip address /D
That's normal
access ftp://ip address/ in Windows, folders exist within mnd_imghome.
ftp://ip address /mnd_imghome/mnd_imghome
ftp://ip address /mnd_imghome/A
ftp://ip address /mnd_imghome/B
ftp://ip address /mnd_imghome/C
ftp://ip address /mnd_imghome/D
So this is what it looks like.
'ftp://ip address /mnd_imghome/A'
In addition, 'ftp://ip address /A' and 'ftp://ip address /mn_imghome/A' are synced with each other, showing the same file creation and deletion.
When i connect ftp to a program like Filezilla or Windows cmd window and check it, it is displayed in a normal way.
Can you tell me how to solve this?

Hi,
Is it using double the space? It sounds like it just having two paths that point to the same data. Is it an SMB share or an NFS share?

We don't use twice as much space
It's true that there are two paths to the same data.
I used SMB sharing because I share it to windows.
It is not NFS.

Hi,
How are the volumes mapped? Page 57 https://dell.to/3Mb1geY It seems like it is working correctly and just has two different naming conventions to reach it.

I solved it.
If the shared volume had the same name when you mapped the volume, it would appear double like that!
