SPAN with SmartFabric
Good Evening,
does anybody know if its possible to use the virtual smartfabric os10 in Eve-ng to build a switch with span?

@clashFTWragdoll hit Good evening! I’ve experimented with virtual SmartFabric OS10 in EVE-NG a bit. From my experience, basic switching functions work fine, but SPAN (port mirroring) support can be limited depending on the image version you’re using. Some people have had success using loopback interfaces or internal VLAN mirroring to simulate SPAN, but it’s not always straightforward. I’d suggest checking the latest Dell OS10 virtual image release notes or the EVE-NG forum—sometimes there are workarounds shared by other users.

You’ll probably want to test with standard monitor session commands first rather than full SmartFabric automation features. A few people have had better luck using plain OS10 Enterprise images instead of SmartFabric mode specifically for labbing packet mirroring.
